Help and FAQs
Day pricing, deposit, cancellation, weather, insurance, minors, group invoicing, battery, sizing, check-in and no-show.
How does day pricing work?
The rate on each model card is per calendar rental day (e.g. 180–280 lei / day by model). A day starts at your confirmed slot and ends at the return time in the booking. For multi-day or groups, the total appears in booking or the quote — helmet, lock and basic kit included.
Where do I pick up the bikes?
In Turda, Strada General Dragalina 120, at your confirmed booking window (usually 10:00–18:00). All riders (or the organiser with documents) arrive after online check-in.
What are your hours?
Mon–Sun 09:00–18:00 (Europe/Bucharest). Handover and return are by appointment in your booking slot only.
Do you offer delivery?
Yes. We deliver in Turda, Cluj and nearby areas (including Feleacu, Florești, Gilău, Rimetea, Băișoara on request). You receive the transport quote before payment or confirmation.
What is the security deposit?
A deposit separate from the rental price, shown in your booking before confirmation. Recorded at handover (card or cash, as applicable) and refunded after we inspect the bike, battery and inventory on return. Extra charges only for damage or inventory loss.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Free cancellation up to 48 h before start unless your quote says otherwise. Within 48 h, reschedule or refund is case by case. For groups, deliveries and schools, signed quote terms apply.
What if it rains or weather is unsafe?
Reschedule with at least 48 h notice. If conditions are unsafe (storm, ice, weather warnings), we offer another date or credit for a future rental. Light rain does not auto-cancel — you decide, with suitable clothing.
Is there insurance for damage?
The rental does not include a personal accident or liability policy for the rider. The deposit covers equipment damage after inspection. For road accidents or third-party liability, use your own personal / travel insurance. We do not claim cover we have not contracted.
Can minors rent?
Minors may ride only with a responsible adult present at handover and on the ride. The adult completes check-in, accepts terms and is liable for equipment. For schools and camps: parent consent, chaperone ratios and a dedicated quote. Child seat (15–22 kg) and trailer need advance booking.
What is the minimum age?
We recommend at least 12 for pedal-assist e-bikes, with a height that fits the assigned size. Under 12: only with a responsible adult, a suitable bike (including reserved child seat or trailer) and an easy route. We do not rent to unaccompanied minors.
How are helmets cleaned?
Each helmet is checked on return, cleaned and sanitised inside before the next handover. You may bring your own helmet (e-bike compatible) if you prefer — tell us when booking. A helmet is included with every rental.
What should I bring to handover?
ID (or passport), phone with completed check-in link, weather-appropriate clothing and water. For minors: the responsible adult with ID. The deposit is paid at handover (card or cash, as applicable). Optional: gloves, sunglasses, sunscreen.
Do you invoice companies or institutions?
Yes. For companies, schools and clubs we issue invoices to the VAT ID / institution based on the accepted quote. Payment can be online by card or bank transfer after confirmation. Include billing details in your request or group booking.
Can I book for a group?
Yes, up to 8 riders online in one booking. For more than 8, team building, schools or events: a dedicated quote with inventory, transport, schedule and invoicing.
How do I choose a bike size?
Enter each rider’s height in booking; we assign a size within the CUBE model range (S–XL per model sheet). At handover we adjust saddle and bars. Hardtail for mixed roads, full suspension for bumps, step-through for easy mounting.
How long does the battery last?
Depends on mode (Eco–Turbo), weight, terrain and temperature. Fleet batteries are typically 800 Wh Bosch CX. For a normal day with breaks, range is enough if you use Eco/Tour on flats and keep 20–30% for the return. We do not promise a fixed km figure — at handover we show recommended modes.
What is online check-in?
A link after confirmation: each adult enters details, confirms height and accepts terms before handover. It shortens time on site; without completed check-in, handover may be delayed.
What if I don’t show up (no-show)?
If you don’t notify us and miss the confirmed window, the booking may be marked no-show. Deposit and/or payment may be retained per accepted terms; bikes may be released to other customers. Tell us early if you’re delayed — we reschedule when possible.
Do I need to know how to ride?
Yes. The motor helps pedalling but does not replace balance and braking. At handover we explain the Bosch display, brakes and motor cut-off.
What payment methods do you accept?
Online card payment at booking. For group quotes: company invoicing and bank transfer after confirmation. Some bookings may allow pay-at-handover if explicitly agreed.
